Wyetech is seeking a Junior Engineer Level 0 to support continuous monitoring and restoration of mission systems. The Junior Engineer will perform Level 1 restoration using documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Confluence sites, and historical tickets to troubleshoot and restore mission capabilities.

This position also supports the design, implementation, testing, evaluation, and modification of hardware and software solutions, including associated documentation, schematics, mechanical drawings, cable assemblies, and parts lists.

Required Skills/Experience:

• A minimum of one (1) year of engineering experience.

• Experience performing or supporting Level 1 restoration and troubleshooting of mission systems.

• Ability to follow documented SOPs, Confluence documentation, and historical tickets to identify and resolve issues.

• Ability to continuously monitor mission systems and respond appropriately to system issues.

• Ability to support the testing and evaluation of hardware and software designs to ensure proper operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Level 1 restoration using documented SOPs, Confluence sites, and historical tickets.

• Ensure continuous monitoring of mission systems.

• Design and implement hardware and software solutions, including documentation, testing, and modification.

• Support development of schematics, mechanical drawings, cable assemblies, and parts lists.

• Test and evaluate hardware and software designs to ensure proper operation.

• Support a range of analytical products and functions that enable the development of signal exploitation capabilities.

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.

• Analyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document practical designs for hardware components, including servers, network devices, transmission media, storage devices, user interface devices, and specialized processors.

• Contribute to systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.

• Assist with the development of system and functional requirements and their allocation to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.

Shift Requirements:

This position requires shift work. The Junior Engineer will work a 12-hour shift from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, rotating monthly to 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Candidates must be able to support both day and night shifts as required by the monthly rotation.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of one (1) year of engineering experience is required.

• A BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field is highly desirable and may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Salary Range: $65.00 to $80.00 per hour

Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
