SIGDEV Analyst Level 2 – 30922

Wyetech is seeking a SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) Analyst Level 2 to support a dynamic, fast-paced watch center operating in a 24x7 mission-essential environment. The SIGDEV Analyst will provide analytic support to optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses while supporting front-end systems that collect, process, and transmit information vital to national decision-makers and mission operations.

The technology focus for this position includes data and voice communications, DNR (voice/FAX), DNI, FORNSAT, and other advanced technologies over IP. The analyst will conduct research and analysis of collection and collateral data to develop targets of interest, develop analytic strategies, and identify target communications within the global network.

This position is open to CCA candidates who meet the requirements below. Candidates will be interviewed, evaluated, and selected, then will go through Contractor Clearances and must receive an approved CCA Waiver prior to starting on program. Acceptance of a pipeline position does not guarantee the candidate will be selected for a funded position.

Required Skills/Experience:

• At least five (5) years of demonstrated experience and knowledge in SIGINT development analytic support.

• Within the last seven (7) years, at least five (5) years of experience with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications.

• Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, including command-line operations.

• FORNSAT experience is required.

• Experience with front-end collection systems, including survey systems.

• Experience with DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration.

• Basic troubleshooting experience.

• Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly.

• Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies.

• Completion of the Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450).

Desired Skills:

• Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (451).

• Scripting experience using Bash, Shell, and/or Python.

• Familiarity with Apache NiFi.

• Basic knowledge of network protocols.

Capabilities:

• Apply critical thinking and reasoning to make analytic determinations.

• Apply knowledge of various technologies and/or topics to identify analytic vectors.

• Apply principles and methods of exploiting foreign communications and communication systems to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate SIGINT information in accordance with established requirements and priorities.

• Utilize software applications and databases associated with SIGINT target development.

• Develop techniques and tools for collecting, evaluating, analyzing, documenting, locating, or presenting information.

• Utilize SIGINT and collateral report repositories and incorporate independent research to enhance target development.

• Identify target communications within the global network.

• Independently perform SIGINT development activities and provide guidance to Level 1 contractor personnel involved with SIGINT development.

• Provide SIGDEV support for the purposes of optimizing and developing accesses.

Shift Requirements:

This position supports a 24x7 mission-essential TTO. Candidates must understand the significance of their role in maintaining continuous mission coverage and must be flexible with their schedules.

Shifts include:

• Day Shift: 0545–1345
• Swing Shift: 1345–2145
• Mid Shift: 2145–0545

Shift work includes weekends and holidays. While individual scheduling preferences may be considered when possible, candidates must be able to support varying schedules as required to ensure mission coverage.

Qualifications:

• At least five (5) years of demonstrated experience and knowledge in SIGINT development analytic support is required.

• Within the last seven (7) years, at least five (5) years of experience must have been with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications.

• Required Education: N/A.

• Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance are required.

Salary Range: $49.60 - $67.17 USD Hourly
Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications; and geographic location. Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
